1.Eligibility
: All foreign youth and students are eligible to buy
a TR Pass. However, you must present passport and
student ID to ticket takers,
2.Departure
Stations : Keelung, Songshan, Taipei,
Banciao,Taoyuan, Jhongli, Hsinchu, Miaoli,Taichung,
Changhua, Doliou, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung,
Pingtung, Fangliao, Yilan, Luodong, Hualien and
Taitung.

Pass :
10 days:NT$1098;20
days:NT$1647;30 days:NT$2196.
4.Passes
are good for unlimited stops during the valid period
on FH. commuter train. and ordinary express trains,
though you will not have an assigned seat on the FH
trips.
5.The
valid period varies by ticket type and is printed on
the ticket. The expiration time refers to the time
of boarding.
6.Since
some lines do not have FH or commuter train service
(such as the Hualien-Taitung Line and South Link
Line). and in cases where it is necessary to change
to a more expensive ticket. you should, during the
valid period of your ticket. pay the difference in
cast at the embarkation station to upgrade to a CK
or TC ticket. Otherwise you will need to pay the
full price for a new ticket. |

1.Island-Round Rail Pass

2.There
are seven tickets in the pass. valid for joumeys
beginning up to 60 days from the date of issue.
3.When
boarding the train, show the cover of the ticket
book and at the boarding station fill in your visa
information. The ticket is valid on that day only.
though you can make one cancellation or change
before the train departure.
4.The
entire itinerary. including outbound and retum legs,
may not exceed seven sections. No refunds will be
made for skipped sections and and additional payment
is required for duplicated sections. For a free
round trip along branch lines. you need to have your
ticket stamped at the starting station of the branch
line.
5.No
refund will be given for any tickets remaining at
the end of your trip. Tickets must be used together.
no replacements will be made for lost tickets and
tickets will be invalidated if altered.
6.Valid
Period : The trip itinerary must be completed within
15 days of the date of first departure. |
